John Lee Hooker (August 22, 1917 – June 21, 2001) was an influential American blues singer, guitarist, and songwriter born in Clarksdale, Mississippi. From either the musical personal, he occurs as cousin-german of Earl Hooker.

Though he stuttered around his normal speech, he performed in the half-spoken style that became his trademark. Rhythmically, his music was loose, the property green using early acoustical Delta blues musicians. His vocal phrasing was less closely attached to specific blocks than virtually all blues singers'. He appeared & sang in the 1980 picture The Blues Brothers.

Around 1989 he joined with the total of musicians, including Keith Richards and Carlos Santana to record The Therapist, which won the Grammy award — one of many awards.

He fell sick good prior to the tour of Europe inside 2001 and died soon afterward at a age of 84.

Hooker recorded terminated Century albums & lived a survive years of his life inside San Francisco, California, where he licensed a nightspot to utilize a title Boom Boom Room, when one of his hits.

John Lee recorded many songs by using Van Morrison, including "Never get out of these blues alive", "The healing game" and "I cover the waterfront". He as well appeared in stage sustaining Van Morrison many days, occasionally of which was freed on the survive album "A night in San Francisco".
